A case between Promise land Cruisers Nigeria Limited and the Ministry of Transport and Uyo Capital City Development Authority has been struck out by The High Court of Justice

The High Court of Justice sitting in Uyo has struck out a case brought before it by the Promise land Cruisers Nigeria Limited against the Ministry of Transport and Uyo Capital City Development Authority U-C-C-A for lack of merit.

Delivering the judgment on the matter the Presiding Judge, Justice Ekaette Obot noted that based on the enabling laws setting up Uyo Capital City Development Authority U-C-C-A, the Promiseland Cruisers erred in operating  within the Uyo Capital City Development Authority  without due approval from the authority government agency.

The Judge directed Promise-land Cruisers Nigeria Limited to immediately relocate to government approved Motor Parks in line with government directives as contained  in the laws setting up Uyo Capital City Development Authority.

Reacting  to the Judgment, the Commissioner for Transport, Dr. Godwin Ntukudeh described the Judgment  as a milestone in the state government effort to sanitize the state for the good of all.

The Commissioner enjoined the operators  of Promiseland Cruiser Nigeria Limited to immediately relocate to  government  approval motor parks in line with the high court ruling.

The Commissioner appealed to transport operators in the state to cooperate the present administration to unable it fulfill its lofty objectives for the benefit of all
