As part of measures to ensure the only qualified hands are employed by the state government to teach, Saturday, October 7, 2017 has been set aside for Aptitude Test for the N-C-E Teaching Appointments into Public Primary Schools in Akwa Ibom.
The Aptitude Test is scheduled to hold at the Town campus of the University of Uyo.
A statement from the State Universal Basic Education Board signed by the Permanent Secretary, Elder Ezekiel Umoh on behalf of the Board Chairman, says the examination is divided into morning slot beginning at eight o’clock in the morning and afternoon slot from noon.
The statement requests applicants to be at the Aptitude Test Centre with the original and photocopy of Certificate of Origin, H-B Pencils, Erasers and two Passport photographs with red background.
They are to confirm their names and examination hall at the gate of the University.
According to the release, applicants from Abak, Eastern Obolo, Eket, Esit Eket, Essien Udim, Etim Ekpo, Etinan, Ibeno, Ibesikpo-Asutan, Ibiono Ibom, Ika, Ikono, Ikot Abasi, Ikot Ekpene and Ini Local Government Areas are scheduled for the morning slot holding from eight o’clock in the morning.
In the same vein, applicants from Itu, Mbo, Mkpat Enin, Nsit Atai, Nsit Ibom, Nsit Ubium, Obot Akara, Okobo and Onna Local Government Areas will write the Aptitude Test during the afternoon slot from noon.
Other applicants for the afternoon slot are from Oron, Oruk Anam, Udung Uko, Ukanafun, Uruan, Urue Offong Oruko and Uyo Local Government Areas.
