DG of AKBC congratulates the 88 contestants of AKBC Promise Hunt

The Director-General of the Akwa Ibom Broadcasting Corporation, Pastor Anietie Ukpe, has congratulated the eighty-eight contestants in the AKBC Promise Hunt for making it to the grand finale of the event, going on about now at Ibom Hall Grounds, in Uyo.

Pastor Ukpe was addressing the contestants at the end of a float across major roads in Uyo metropolis to showcase the AKBC Promise Hunt Star Prize: a Chevrolet Cruze Car.

The Car, alongside artistes and contestants, were driven in a float led by officials of Federal Road Safety Commission, from Ibom Plaza, across Edet Akpan Avenue, Ikot Ekpene Road, Atiku Abubakar Way, Olusegun Obasanjo Road and Aka Road, before the destination at Ibom Hall.
The AKBC Director-General, expressed satisfaction with the performance of the contestants, saying that it was a strong indication that God has deposited great talents in them to showcase to the world.
Pastor Ukpe explained that the Promise Hunt was aimed at discovering talents among the youths, promising that the Corporation will continue to give Nigerian youths a platform to showcase their potentials.
