General Secretary of the Zambia Football Association declares readiness of the Zambia national team to pick up the sole ticket from the group

Ahead of the World Cup qualifier between Super Eagles and Chipolopolo, the General Secretary of the Zambia Football Association, Mr. Ponga Liwewe has stated the readiness of the Zambia national team to pick up the sole ticket from the group.
In an on-line interview with AKBC Sports analyst, Idy Uyoe, Mr. Liwewe said the Zambia team which has players who come out from the youthful side are very confident because of the regular time they have played together.
Mr. Liwewe says the team had set up a camp in Ghana to move from there to Uyo because Ghana has the same climate with Nigeria.
The Football Association of Zambia General Secretary says a World Cup qualification ticket means everything to the Zambia and the Federation is determined to upstage Nigeria in Uyo.
Sports correspondent Justice Udousoro says Zambia has defeated Nigeria once since 1985, drawn once and lost six times while they hold the nations’ cup once and Nigeria three times.
FIFA has appointed thirty-nine year old Joshua Banda from Botswana as centre referee for the Nigeria/Zambia clash.
