Governor Udom Emmanuel inspects facilities at the Operations Base of Amalgamated Oil Company Nigeria Ltd

Governor Udom Emmanuel has spoken of plans to lead a gas revolution in the next phase of the state’s industrialization drive.
The Governor was speaking after inspecting facilities at the Operations Base of Amalgamated Oil Company Nigeria Ltd. located at Mbokpu Uko-Akai in Urue Offong Oruko, Local Government Area.
He noted that in view of the deregulation of the downstream petroleum sector and the attendant increase in pump price of petrol, transporters and industrialists should seriously explore the prospects of running vehicles and industries on Gas.
Governor Udom also urged communities in the state to avoid conflicts and unnecessary protests but rather provide conducive environments for Industries established in their areas to thrive for the overall benefit of the state.
He argued that without an enabling environment, investors will not be attracted to explore the abundant natural resources available in the state noting that successful industries create multiplier effects.
