The new International Executive of Ati Annang recently flagged off a tour of all chapters of the Foundation across the state with a view to mobilizing members for the task ahead.
Led by the International President, Sir Udo Kierian Akpan, Ati Annang has visited Etim Ekpo and Abak Chapters of the organization.
Addressing the people, Sir Udo Kierian said the visit was to cement the relationship between the chapters and the International Executive as well as commend members for a successful electoral process which led to their for the next three years.
The International President who was represented by the Vice President, Africa, Elder Aniekan Akpan said the new Executive will continue to add value to the solid Foundation laid by the founding fathers and past Executives of Ati Annang.
He commended the unity among members, pointing out that preservation and promotion of Annang Culture would continue to remain a priority in addition to the provision of yearly scholarship to indigent students.
The Ati Annang leadership called for support for Governor Udom Emmanuel and prayers for those in the National and State Assemblies, saying that the position of Minority Leader occupied by Senator Godswill Akpabio is an honour to the Annang nation and Akwa Ibom State.
In their remarks, the Chapter Presidents of Abak, Mrs. Mercy Ntia Etim Ekpo, Mr. Eseme Udoka and Ika Mr. Dominic Udontuk expressed appreciation for the visit, pledging to ensure continuous growth of Ati Annang.
Stakeholders in Ati Annang including members of the Board of Trustees were in attendance at the meetings.
