The State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, has advised the public to be wary of fraudsters who promise to secure employment for job seekers.
The State Commandant, Mrs. Obiajulu Obiageli in a statement said the NSCDC is not employing now, neither does it use agents nor consultants in its recruitment drive.
Mrs. Obiageli said the NSCDC does not sell recruitment or application forms directly or indirectly.
The Commandant said the NSCDC will not be held liable for all the financial involvement of victims to the syndicate since they went into the clandestine business without making formal enquiry from the state command.
Mrs Obiageli said the command in Uyo on Saturday July thirty, 2016 apprehended those who engaged in employment scam by tricking their victims with the aim of conveying them to Abuja for training and subsequent recruitment into the NSCDC.
She explained that the legal and formal method of recruitment in NSCDC is pure, simple and devoid of any ambiguity.
