Office of the Head of Civil Service facilitates “Jogging to Serve Better”, November edition

This month’s edition of “Jogging to Serve Better” – a physical keep fit exercise for civil servants organized by the Office of the Head of Civil Service has been held.
The exercise which was led by the Head of Civil Service, Mrs. Ekereobong Akpan was attended by Permanent Secretaries, Directors and other categories of civil servants took place at the Millennium Park along Udo Udoma Avenue.
The exercise featured aerobics and jogging.

Workers in the Office of the State Surveyor General, Office of the Head of Civil Service and the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Special Duties were adjudged the best during the exercise which lasted from six thirty to ten o’clock in the morning Saturday.
In the result that followed, Office of the Surveyor General came first, Office of the Head of Civil Service second while Ministry of Finance and that of Special Duties tied for the third position.

Addressing the participants, the Head of Civil Service, Mrs. Ekereobong Akpan expressed satisfaction over the performance of workers in their assign duties.
She advised them to keep the spirit and re-iterated the commitment of government to reward honest, resourceful and committed workers.
Mrs. Akpan urged the workers to see the monthly keep fit exercise as important as it provides an opportunity to refreshment oneself in readiness for the next job.
