The funeral service of Late Madam Aggie Umoh

Sympathizers, family members and faithful of Qua Iboe Church gathered at Government School, Inen Abasi Attai in Oruk Anam Local Government Area to pay their last respects to Madam Aggie Umoh, a nonagenarian who died at 90.
The Late Madam Aggie Umoh was a devoted member of the Qua Iboe Church, Nigeria.
In a sermon at the funeral on the theme “Blessed are those who die in the Lord”, the officiating minister, the Reverend Isaac Akpan of the Qua Iboe Church, Ikot Okoro Superintendency called on unbelievers to turn to Christ and desist from their evil ways.
He pointed out that only the righteous will make Heaven when they die.
Describing the late Madam Umoh as a practical Christian who possessed noble character, the Reverend Akpan charged Christians to see themselves as light bearers and preachers of the Gospel.
The biography of late Madam Aggie Umoh read by her first son, Mr. Sabbath Iwok, described his late mother as a virtuous woman with gentle disposition and one who always directed her children on the parth of righteousness.
The funeral service featured choir rendition and prayer for the bereave family as well as presentation of condolence messages.
In an interview, a son of the deceased, Deacon Aniefiok Iwok reflected on the life of his mother, saying she lived a fulfilled life.
The remains of late Madam Aggie Umoh were laid to rest at her compound in Inem Ikot Abasi Attai, Oruk Anam Local Government Area.
