The Head of Civil Service, Mrs Cecilia Udoessien with stakeholders in the Education Sector

The Head of Civil Service, Mrs Cecilia Udoessien, has enjoined stakeholders in the Education Sector to assist Teachers, Pupils and Students achieve a hitch-free and impactful school year.
The Head of Civil Service also assured Teachers in the Public Schools of prompt settlements of all the outstanding payment.
Mrs. Udoessien, who stated this during a chat with media men in her Office, explained that all Contending issues, including promotion arrears, leave grants and payment of 7.5% Contributory Pensions Deductions is currently being attended to.
She directed all School Heads and education Secretaries to ensure that adequate and correct account details of Teachers in their respective Local Education Authorities are forwarded to the Contributory pension Refund Committee through her office to ensure timely treatment of all outstanding complaints arising from the exercise.
She encouraged all Stakeholders and Teachers, who she referred to as the “nation builders”, not to relent in their commitment to the up-bringing of children entrusted in their care.
