The Trophy won by the Nigeria Union of Journalists team during a solidarity match with the Judiciary has formally been presented to the State Chairman of the Union, Elder Patrick Albert.

The Trophy won by the Nigeria Union of Journalists team during a solidarity match with the Judiciary has formally been presented to the State Chairman of the Union, Elder Patrick Albert.
The match was part of activities marking this year’s Legal Year.
Mr. Patrick Albert while receiving the team at the Press Centre, thanked the State Chapter of the Sports Writer Association which members made the bulk of the team, for being able to achieve the feat, stressing that sport is a unifying factor.
Mr. Albert urged Journalists in the State to rise up and to make themselves great as the society will always honour those with outstanding qualities.
He re-stated the resolve of the union under him to provide opportunities for training within and outside the country.
Presenting the trophy to the Chairman, the State SWAN Chairman, Elder Uwem Ekoh commended the Chairman for carrying SWAN members along in the scheme of things and for its support.
